Keith Wyatt has been performing and teaching guitar professionally for over four decades. After arriving in Los Angeles in 1977, he played with a variety of artists before joining renowned “American Music” band The Blasters in 1996, subsequently recording the albums 4-11-44 and Fun on Saturday Night and touring regularly across the US and Europe. From 1978-2014 he was a staff instructor at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he also developed curriculum, directed its world-famous guitar program (GIT), and served as the college’s Vice President of Programs.
He has released over a dozen full-length best-selling instructional videos on various guitar styles and techniques, and for over twenty years his columns and articles have been regularly featured in magazines including Guitar Player and Guitar World.
